Paula jí však ukradne identitu, kariéru i přítele a nakonec ji vyhodí z vlastního domu. synopse: Zkrachovalá filmová hvězda Candy (Drew Barrymoreová), odsouzená za daňové úniky, najme svou ambiciózní dublérku Paulu (rovněž Barrymoreová), aby místo ní vykonávala veřejně prospěšné práce. Když si Candy uvědomí, že může Paulu využít jako náhradnici ve všech oblastech svého života, aby unikla stresujícímu tlaku slávy, vyvine se mezi nimi nepříjemný vztah spoluzávislosti. Paula se však chopí své nové identity se vším všudy, ukradne Candy kariéru i přítele a nakonec ji dokonce vyhodí z domu.
